Description
This class is a continuation of Beginning Spanish 1 and assumes some knowledge of Spanish. Before registering, new students who wish to join the class should contact Oasis to arrange an assessment to determine if it would be appropriate to join. Did you take Spanish classes in high school or college and want to revive your fluency? Do you have an upcoming trip to a Spanish-speaking country? Or want to communicate better with a family member who speaks Spanish? This is the Spanish class for you! The goal is to speak and read on an intermediate low level. We will focus on basic communication skills, while becoming familiar with the Spanish-speaking culture, traditions and arts. Students will learn grammar structures that will enable them to function in Spanish in an everyday context. (We use the workbook, Nos Vemos Hoy 1 for this class. If you are new to the class, the instructor will order a copy of the book for you and you can pay her at the first class.) No class November 5, November 26.
