You asked for it and we’re delivering…. how to engage your student(s) and maintain attention to the task.
This session, led by Linda Shiffman, will focus on various strategies to engage students during tutoring sessions and help them maintain attention.
Some of the strategies to be discussed include removing distractions, providing short activity breaks, breaking tasks into smaller segments, and using cues to redirect attention. Opportunities will be provided to practice these strategies.
Due to the interactive nature of this program, it will only be offered in-person at Oasis (not virtually).
This session is for active or active on-break Oasis tutors only. Registration is required.
