Description
Veteran Actor Humphrey Bogart and teenage model Lauren Bacall brought sparks to the screen in 1944’s To Have and Have Not and would then, as a married couple, go on to make three other films. We will tell the stories of these two great actors before they met and their subsequent relationship on and off the screen before Bogart’s death in 1957. The class will include clips and background related to their films, along with discussion of how the film industry operated and changed during their careers. Be prepared to learn about one of Hollywood’s great romances.
