Description

This non-fiction work inspires many discussion topics, such as the value of public art; the trade-off between public and private good; what parents owe children and vice a versa.  The author did extensive research and spent hours interviewing the prolific art thief, Stéphane Breitwieser, whose tally based on trial records was 239 artworks stolen from 172 museums between 1995 and 2001.
