Description
In 2008, the 25-year-old Patrick Bringley had a fast-paced job planning events for the The New Yorker magazine. Then after a family tragedy, the author decided he needed a change of pace. So he became a security guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. First assigned to Sector 10, known as the Old Masters galleries, he found solace. He wrote the memoir after spending ten years at the Met, keeping both the people and the art safe. Please read the book so you can participate in our structured, facilitated Zoom discussion.
