Fiction inspired by the author’s own biography can be incredibly powerful.  Prize-winning author Louise Erdrich’s family includes her mother’s Chippewa line and her father’s German-American line.  Her grandfather’s life inspired her latest novel.  Set in the 1950s, a night watchman by trade becomes a political organizer to fight the federal government’s efforts to take over Chippewa land in North Dakota.  Please read the book so you can participate in our structured, facilitated, Zoom discussion.  Author:Louise Erdrich, 2020.  Limit:  20
