Description
In this class we’ll examine Churchill and Chamberlain — their similarities and differences and their 20 year-long antagonistic relationship. We’ll then explore the incredible story of how that relationship was resurrected in the months after Germany invaded Poland in September, 1939, to the point that the two stood together as loyal colleagues in late May 1940 and resisted great pressure for Britain to settle with Hitler rather than to continue WWII to remove him from power.
