The co-founders of the Washington Area Film Critics Association will tell you how to find the hidden gems that don’t always have the marquee names or advertising budgets to reach wide audiences. We will take you behind the scenes of the strange world of movie awards and tell you which ones we think are worth paying attention to and give you some of our recent favorites you might not have heard about. We’ll also talk about what matters to us in writing our reviews, and give you a chance to tell us where you disagree with the reviews of movies that delighted or disappointed you.
