Fabulous musical pictures from an art exhibition. This hour is dedicated to Mussorgsky, a Romantic Russian composer, and Ravel’s famous orchestration of that masterpiece. Highlighted samples will include the famous Promenade theme and musical experiences of Paris, Poland, old castles and catacombs, and even the witch Baba Yoga. This music is dramatic and heroic.
