Description
New tutor training is required for all volunteers seeking to participate in our Oasis Tutoring program. During this full-day training you will engage with fellow new tutors and get a glimpse of what tutoring looks like in action. Together with your peers you will participate in activities focused on teaching and building literacy skills with children. You will also explore our Oasis Resource room and discuss what materials are available for use with tutoring.
This course is only for new Oasis Tutors and is only offered in-person (not virtual)
Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.
