While some Rock’n’Roll artists wiggled their hips, duckwalked, and climbed atop pianos, singer/songwriter Roy Orbison got away with standing still as a statue.  All he had to do was open his mouth and the Heavens opened with an angelic voice you might hear on an operatic stage.  He continues to be an influence upon many singers today.
