Description

“Solo aging” is not simply living alone. It describes growing older without the benefit of nearby or available close family members who can routinely provide care, make decisions during emergencies, or offer ongoing support. Whether by circumstance or choice, solo agers can thrive by planning, building meaningful relationships, and creating a reliable network of support.

In this six-session in-person seminar, we will build community, learn skills, and support each other. Topics are “Lift Off and Live Healthy”, “Live Prepared”, “Living Arrangements – Now & Later,” “Live Connected,” Live with Technology,” and “Live with Purpose.” Please plan to attend all sessions.  Weekly homework.  This program is generously supported by the Healthier Community Fund.  No class October 21.
