Description

Based on her life experiences, Anita Nahal writes poetry on many themes, including race, ethnicity, immigration, gender, and class.  During the pandemic, she found refuge in her writing.  Her poetry from this challenging time is archived at Stanford University’s Digital Humanities initiative, “Life in Quarantine: Witnessing Global Pandemic.”  Dr. Nahal will share personal insights on surviving and thriving.  She’ll also read selected poems.
