The Nature Conservancy’s Community Engagement Specialist, Debra Williams, will share her experiences awakening people’s interests in nature through the story of the monarch butterfly. This “charismatic microfauna” has been a long-time catalyst for connecting people with the environment. Learn about the monarch’s life history, its impacts on our food, and its role as an ambassador for nature conservation.
