Description

The extraordinary partnership and epic friendship of Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill, the two greatest wartime leaders of the 20th century, was played out over the course of nine meetings totaling 113 days over a six-year period, from September 1939 until FDR’s death in April 1945. Their meetings took them around the world, no easy task for one of them who was paralyzed below the waist and confined to a wheelchair, or for the other whose age, health and work habits were of constant concern to his family, friends and doctors.
