Description

Join Glenstone’s Landscape Superintendent, Matt Partain for a short presentation about the sustainability and regeneration efforts at Glenstone, an internationally-recognized art museum with a strict environmental mandate. The talk will be followed by a tour of the Environmental Center and surrounding grounds.  Comfortable and durable footwear is recommended.  The walking distance will be 1 – 2 miles.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation.  The Glenstone Environmental Center has its own entrance and parking lot, separate from the Glenstone Museum entrance.  The Environmental Center is located at 12180 Glen Road, Potomac, MD 20854.   Your tour guide will meet participants in the parking lot.

Outside food and drink are prohibited, with the exception of water.  Food and drink are available for purchase on the premises if you wish to take a refreshment break after the tour.  Restrooms are also available.

After the tour, you are welcome to stroll the Museum grounds.
