Come join Kathy Hankins and learn about Yogadance, a practice that incorporates the benefits of yoga and dance with a touch of “forget your age” brain trickery to physically and mentally turn back the clock. It is suitable for all types of people including the non-yogi and the experienced yogi. The session is tailored for older adults but suitable for everyone. It includes breathing exercises, playful, but challenging standing yoga poses that improve balance and strength, and lively music. A chair is used for cool down and closing meditation. Ultimately, the main goal is to enjoy yourself! No class September 21. Wear comfortable clothes that will allow movement and mild stretching and bring a yoga mat and water. In general, to make the things you do in everyday life that much easier. Ideal equipment is a set of 1-5 lb weights and a resistance band plus a sturdy chair. Don’t have weights? No problem!
