Description
Come explore Beethoven's one and only opera Fidelio. Composed in 1805, this work reflects the style of composition we refer to as his "middle" period. Beethoven's struggle over this work will be discussed, including listening to his four overtures to the work! Historic recordings and contemporary videos will be presented.
