Robert Schumann was taught by one of the greatest piano teachers of his time, and he married an exceptional professional, Clara, his teacher’s daughter! In addition to Clara’s lifelong support, he enjoyed Felix Mendelssohn’s appreciation and encouragement. Great music came to us from Robert Schumann and Clara’s talent and love are woven into that musical creativity.
