The game is afoot! Since being introduced to the world in 1887, Sherlock Holmes has populated countless short stories and novels and is the most portrayed character in film and television. An industry of Sherlockian scholarship exists that treats him as a real person. This multimedia class will describe the writings of Arthur Conan Doyle and some of the adventures of Holmes and Watson written by others, including the recent Sherlock series set in modern London.
