Description
Based on the vision of Lucille Ball for her hometown of Jamestown, NY to become a destination for comedy, the National Comedy Center opened its doors in 2018. Join us to learn more about ways that comedy's great minds, unique voices, and time-honed creative processes combine to play vital roles in our society as they engage, inspire, and educate, as well as entertain us. This session showcases comedy as an art form, with stories from its remarkable history, examples of the healing power of laughter, and comedy's longstanding role speaking truth to power.
