If you feel overwhelmed by managing your parents' needs and your own responsibilities, you're not alone -- and this group is here to support you. This caregiver group will largely consist of those in their 50s, 60s, and 70s who identify as "adult children" and are caring for a "parent" who's aging. This is an inclusive group -- "parent" can mean any aging loved one (ie. aunt, uncle). You will gain connection with others who truly understand the journey, practical tools and strategies to honor your personal needs while navigating caregiving, and emotional support to manage stress, guilt, and complicated family dynamics. Erica Greenspan is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting older adults and their loved ones. Erica specializes in helping families navigate the challenges of neurocognitive disorders such as dementia, MS, and Parkinson’s disease, as well as acute illnesses like cancer. This program is generously supported by the Frederick H. Bowis Community Fund. The group will meet on: May 13, May 27, June 10, June 24, July 7 (Wednesday), July 22, August 5 -
