You may remember the term "interactive read-aloud" from your New Tutor Training; during this session we'll take a deeper dive into preparing for and implementing an effective interactive read aloud.  This method not only allows students to develop a love for books, but also helps to improve students’ comprehension of text. Participants will have an opportunity to see a read aloud modeled and then practice planning and implementing a read aloud.  Fiction books will be provided, or you can bring a fiction book you are planning to use with your student. We encourage in-person attendance due to the interactive nature of the training, however, virtual attendance is an option if you're not able to make it in person.  If you are attending this session virtually, please register for the section that indicates "ZOOM" in the title.
